Done and Dusted

Back to school after any amount of days off is never fun, but after having a bank holiday, it's worse than ever!!! We started off with assembly-the younger ones performances,eech. We got taken out early though ... for a maths test. It was tough, but we need all the practise we can get, big exams coming up next week! Afterwards we got a break outside-but only for 15 minutes, then it was back inside for an English comprehension test!

It was a tiring morning and not exactly made up for, when in the afternoon it was off to extra maths! The day ended on a high note, when we found our results, for me, one away from perfect!

As soon as I got home I was outside in the garden playing badminton, I still had a lot of energy left. I stayed out for a couple of hours,and then retired to the house to do some doodling. It may have been hard, but now it's done and dusted!

Oh! And me and Shortie have been having lots of cuddles!!!

Rain and Shine

A long weekend, a lot of doodles!
What a great start to the week, no school and no work, what could be better?! The day got off to a good start when I woke up to the smell of croissants warming in the oven. It looked like an okay day outside, so shortly after we had eaten, me and my brother set off to a near by field to walk Shortie. As soon as we got back, we were straight in the car, and off to B&Q. At this point, it was still a fairly pleasant day, it was as we stepped out of the car that the rain started to fall. After much umming and arring, we decided to get the shopping done even though it would mean getting VERY wet!! After about 45 minuets we were done and loaded up with all our plants and compost, and ready to load up the car.

As soon as we were home the showers stopped and so my brother and my mum, set to work planting and digging in the garden. I however, was not as willing to be outside, so I prepared a delicious apple crumble for after tea. When we were all finished we were joined by shortie and Jamie (my step dad). My mum left to make tea, but the rest of us played with a ball in the garden.

Now i'm under the covers, getting an early night ready for school tomorow, time to start doodling, here's what I've got so far...

Doodles and Daydreams

I'm Moppa and I love nothing more than to sit down with a cup of tea, a chocolate bar, and a pad and pen!


Today I spent some quality time with my mum, brother, and dog (shortie). Together, we transformed our garden! Up until now, it has been a bit of a jungle, so, armed with shovels, spades, rakes, and forks, we set to work.We started at 11am, and only stopped for half an hour - to get a bite to eat, before carrying on until 5:30pm!


Now I'm indoors and cuddled up in bed with my drawing book, I'm drawing some characters for a new story, that's starting to form in the back of my mind!
